A BRIGHTON based vintage goods seller now working in internet television is staging a Vintage Fair.

Vintagelady has been selling at vintage fairs up and down the country for a number of years and has recently provided outfits and accessories for a television series – The Crown being produced by Netflix.

Vintage Brighton says it will be is a vastly different experience for buyers than going into a single vintage shop because there will be different sellers in one place with a variety of vintage items across the decades from the 1920s to the 1980s and it can also be less expensive.

Some of the stall holders have previously worked in the fashion industry, others sell just because they love all things vintage.

There will be recycled furniture, quilts made from vintage fabrics, homewares, art glass, collectables, jewellery, men and women’s fashion and accessories. There will be a changing room available to try before you buy.

The emphasis is on vintage and some up cycled items.

There is live music from a Worthing band – the Time Travellers – who play a mixture of songs from across the decades, and a vintage salon by Fine to Fabulous, a salon based in Richardson Road, Hove.

A local business the Theme Machine will be showcasing their props for video and photo shoots.

Another highlight will be Rose & Olive’s Vintage Tea Events, which has been included in the Small Business Saturday UK #SmallBiz100 list for 2016.

The company loves creating memories with what they do - whether you're enjoying a slice of our homemade cake in their pop-up tearoom or celebrating at one of its tea parties

The event runs from 10.30am until 4.30pm on September 18 at the Corn Exchange in Brighton.

Entry is £2 and under 12s go free. Trade entry is £5 at 10am.
