DO not miss our special Snowdogs by the Sea supplement out on Saturday.

This is your ultimate guide on how to take part in the charity arts trail featuring all the information you need including a map, quiz, facts, an introduction to all the sculptures and the stories behind some of them.

Visit The Argus stand at Brighton Railway Station from 9am to 12.30pm on Saturday to pick up your copy, get your hands on a special Snowdog trail survival kit goody bag and meet our Snowdog correspondent Flora Thompson. She wants to know what you think of the trail, which is your favourite dog and what you love about Brighton.

The supplement is on sale in every copy of Saturday's paper but from every sale made at The Argus stand at the station of the goody bag including the supplement, 20p will be donated to The Martlets Hospice.

  • Snowdogs by the Sea is a charity arts trail coming to Brighton and Hove on Saturday until November 27. A collection of giant sculptures of the loved children's character, which features in the sequel to Raymond Briggs' The Snowman, will appear on city streets for visitors to find and admire.
There will be 43 individually decorated 1.5 metre high pooches here and a 44th at London Victoria Railway Station directing visitors down to Brighton for the trail.
They will be joined by a pack of Snowpuppies which have been designed by Brighton and Hove schoolchildren and went on display on Monday in city museums and libraries. They will remain there until Christmas. When the trail ends the figures will be auctioned off in aid of The Martlets Hospice.
