BRIGHTON is widely regarded as the country's best hen and stag party venue.

Crowds of fellas and girls dressed to the nines all hell bent on a blast of a weekend’s entertainment is commonplace across to the city and now two of the major providers have joined together.

The Stag Company, a leading stag party weekend organiser, is now working alongside Hen Heaven, which has been organising hen parties for more than 10 years and claims to offer celebrations that are a mix of luxury accommodation, activities and the chance to truly let your hair down and party.

Both the party companies in Queens Road are in the Eventa Group and CEO Rob Hill says it is an exciting time to bring them together.

He said: "Both Hen Heaven and The Stag Company are known by the public as having fun, engaging and experienced personalities and the rebrand will emphasise this and the commitment both brands have for the customers.

"The company has come a long way over the past 14 years. Our fresh new look will give us a platform to really stand out from a very crowded marketplace."

Mr Hill said that hen and stag parties are very different.

He said: "We have grown massively in a relatively short period of time and, in fact, the last recession was very good. Despite tough times, our trade shot up.

"Now we have seen an opportunity to say let's understand the market and how it is changing and see what we can do to take the business further forward.

"It is big business and we have around 600 groups come to Brighton and Hove each year.

"We have an amazing relationship with hotels and suppliers, which means we can deliver a first class service.

"Our customers want us to be the experts, to help, advise and provide inspiration, and that's what we do.

"Our main age range is 28-35, and let's face it you cannot beat a sunny day in Brighton with an unrivalled atmosphere, no trouble, and people generally having a good time."

The company does have one hen house, in Ditchling Road, which caters for a maximum of 16.

Mr Hill said: "It's a three-storey building which used to be a pub. We like to think that's it up to four-star standard and we are very respectful of the neighbours in terms of noise."

He fears that we may not have seen the full effects of the Brexit vote but for now Mr Hill is very positive about the booming stag and hen industry in Brighton and Hove.

The Eventa Group employs 70 people in its Brighton home.
