SOLICITORS Mayo Wynne Baxter is taking a medieval approach to fundraising for its charity partner Rockinghorse.

It will be celebrating the children’s charity’s 50th anniversary in style on March 25.

Being the first of its kind, the Brighton Medieval Banquet will see the Grand hotel transformed into a castle banqueting hall.

The themed dining experience is part of Rockinghorse’s celebrations to mark 50 years of helping sick children across Sussex.

The night will start with a drinks reception with tankards of ale and goblets of wine, and guests will then be seated at long banqueting tables. Entertainment will be provided by minstrels and jesters

The event will be hosted by TV’s Sid Sloane and fundraising will take place throughout the night.

Marketing director Jason Edge said: “It really is an honour to be organising this event for one of the county’s most deserving charities.”
