ONLINE accountancy firm Crunch Accounting has moved to new offices in Brighton.
The company, which employs 180 people, is now at Telecom House in Preston Road.
The deal is believed to be the city’s biggest value commercial leasing deal to date, worth in excess of £6 million.
Crunch has taken over the whole of the first floor.
Its turnover expanded by 34 per cent from 2015 to 2016.
It has also featured in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 list of fastest-growing technology companies for the past two years.
Founder and CEO Darren Fell said: “Given that there’s virtually no large office space available in Brighton, I was over the moon when we found a suitable building to house our fast expanding business.
“We believe that Crunch has a bright future ahead.
“What better way to start than with Brighton’s biggest commercial property deal and a spacious new office?”
Coffin Mew negotiated an extended 10-year lease of the property, with the option to renew for a further 10 years.
The standard commercial property lease term is in the region of five years.
Hannah Bassett, of Coffin Mew, said: “It is fantastic to see Crunch in its new location.”
