BRIGHTON MP Caroline Lucas visited The Clock Tower Sanctuary to hear more about their work with homeless young people.
The Clock Tower is at Wenlock House, 41-43 North Street in Brighton and the meeting took place on Friday afternoon.
She looked around the centre and visited the newly-refurbished space upstairs.
The drop-in centre was open and she met clients and volunteers.
She said: “This is a hugely important service and the support The Clock Tower provides to young people facing very difficult situations is invaluable.
“I’m delighted to show my support.”
The Clock Tower Sanctuary is the only drop-in service in Brighton ane Hove providing all-round information, advice and support to homeless young people aged 16-25.
More than 150,000 young people ask for help with homelessness every year.
Brighton and Hove now has the second largest homeless population in the UK, outside of Westminster, London.
