A HOVE funeral directors has reached the final stages of the Good Funeral Awards ceremony at the Porchester Hall in London on Thursday, September 7.
Bungard Funeral Directors, based in Sackville Road, is in the running for Best Traditional Funeral Director.
The awards are now in their sixth year and recognise excellence rewarding the best funeral directors and all associated services involved.
Fran Hall, CEO of event joint organiser The Good Funeral Guide, said: “The awards recognise exceptional service to bereaved people from all aspects of the funeral industry and supporting services.
“By progressing this far, Bungard Funeral Directors has already demonstrated outstanding professionalism, empathy and a willingness to go the extra mile.”
Co-organiser Brian Jenner said it was a great honour for Bungard.
“The awards recognise all those unsung heroes who work so hard for the bereaved and whose role can so easily be overlooked. Some of the nicest people in Britain work in the funeral business.”
