NEWBRIDGE Nurseries in Broadbridge Heath is the latest business to support the Pink Gift Fair September fundraising efforts to help find cures for all 200 types of cancer.

Newbridge is supplying a ‘tree of hope’ for the foyer of Parkside, Horsham District Council’s offices, where visitors can hang a pink tag of a person fighting cancer or for someone who has sadly lost the fight.

One in two people born in the UK after 1960 will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives.

Right now, half of the people diagnosed with cancer will survive their disease for at least ten years.

The aim is to accelerate progress and see three in four people surviving cancer for ten years or more by 2034 but this can only be done through research.

This is why all the money raised from the Pink Gift Fair will go directly to the Brighton Cancer Research laboratories.

The fair offers a treasure trove of stalls as well as complimentary healthcare professionals offering taster session during the two days.

Outside visitors will find a vintage merry-go-round, sweet shop and a Five Oaks Audi display.

Inside there will be glitter girl face painters, balloons thanks to Gatwick Airport, and a coffee shop with a large orangery seating area.

Parking is available at the rear of Parkside for a £1 donation per vehicle.

Look for the directional signs supplied by Brock Taylor estate agents.

The event takes place on September 16 and 17.

All money raised will go towards helping people worldwide to fight and beat cancer sooner.

New for 2017 is an area in the orangery for alternative, complimentary health professionals offering taster sessions of reflexology, aromatherapy, psychic medium, reiki healing and sports massage.

Wellbeing is also available through Emotional Freedom Techniques.
