Mayo Wynne Baxter has signed a deal to sponsor a corporate lounge at American Express Community Stadium in Falmer.

On match days the pitch-facing lounge in the Upper Gold North section hosts up to 128 members of the 1901 Club. The rest of the year the Mayo Wynne Baxter Lounge will hold networking events, seminars and business meetings. The firm has five offices across Sussex and employs around 200 staff.

Members of the hospitality club include Norman Cook and Des Lynam.

Albion chief executive Paul Barber said: “We are delighted to welcome Mayo Wynne Baxter as Lounge Sponsors at the Amex and are looking forward to working with one of the leading law firms in the South of England. We will be working closely with the team at Mayo Wynne Baxter to enhance both brands’ growing reputation in the local area.”

The firm’s chief executive, Chris Randall, said: “Alongside the Albion’s impressive journey up the divisions, few clubs around the world do so much for their local community. We try to support organisations that matter to our clients and our staff, and the Albion is right up there. We’re pleased to be able to increase our support of Sussex sports through this sponsorship deal.”
