Riverside walk for cancer charity

Marie Curie Cancer Care is holding a sponsored walk next month.

Volunteers are due to set off on the three-mile walk from the Black Rabbit pub at 10am on Saturday October 4 and follow the River Arun.

The aim is to raise funds to help provide high quality nursing care, totally free, to people with terminal cancer and other illnesses giving them the choice to die in their own homes surrounded by their loved ones.
