Community Composting Coming to Bevendean

In a move to reduce waste, Brighton and Hove City Council is working with Bevendean Community Garden and Brighton and Hove Food Partnership to establish a community compost bin in Bevendean.
The compost would be located inside the community garden and would be accessed by families/people participating in the scheme using a code to a padlock on the bin.
Participants would receive basic training in ‘what goes in’ and a free caddy for transporting the compost to the garden.
