We have a Dream!

To sip a Pint of Ale and establish our very own Signature Ale 'The Bevendean Beast'.

A place where this can be enjoyed, where our Communities have come together and raised the money and worked hard to bring the Bevendean Pub back to life!

Landlords East Brighton Trust like our ideas and have given us the chance to get our plans for a Pub, Cafe, Community Kitchen, Meeting Room and Edible Garden off the ground.

FOR THIS TO HAPPEN WE NEED YOU TO GET INVOLVED.

Would you like a Share in a Pub????

Would you be prepared to help donate your time to do some work????

Put up a Fence? A bit of Gardening?.....Every little helps!!!

We are also working on a Prospectus that will attract people to invest, Banks to loan and Successful Business People to get involved and Invest.

We hold regular fortnightly positive, friendly steering group meetings so come along and get involved. We can also send minutes to those interested but who cannot get along to all of the meetings.

Everyone has different skills to offer so we will be setting up separate working groups to get all the jobs done. Would you like to get involved in any of these?

COMMUNITY RELATIONS Helping organise public meetings and consultation, putting up posters in noticeboards and shops and leafleting your street, talking to local businesses to get them on side  SHARE ISSUE Helping put together our prospectus, designing it ALTERNATIVE FUND RAISING Organise benefits, look for grants, crowd funding etc BUILDING PROJECT Finding local builders, liaising with project manager etc LICENSING & OPERATIONS liaising with breweries, working on the license, equipping the pub and kitchen etc, trying to persuade a small brewery to make a specific ale for the pub. How about a pint of Bevendean Beast?

ONLINE MARKETING & PUBLICITY Working on website, facebook, twitter, blog etc.   BUY YOUSELF A PUB  Since our first meeting in October we've managed to get everything done without a penny in the bank but now we need to raise 5,000 to pay for insurance, fencing material, a new sign, solicitor’s costs, prospectus and stationary. We already raised £600 in the first week alone!

When we launch our prospectus all these donations will be converted into Ten Pound Shares you will then be the proud owner of a Pub!
