Mayor's charities boundary and health walk 24th August

The Mayor will launch the event by walking from the Bandstand to the Palace Pier. Further details of all the walks in the next few months are at www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/events or from the leaflet linked.

The idea is that people walk the whole boundary of the city (marathon length, about 26 miles) in a series of legs, each of which will also be used to raise money for the Mayor’s charities.

The Whitehawk Red Tarts will be performing at the event on 24/08/2011 starting at 11:00 and finishing around 12:30 • Suitable for all ages (children must be accompanied by a responsible adult) • All walks start & finish near bus stops • Dogs welcome on a short lead • Further details www.brighton- hove.gov.uk/events
