£300 Grant for Central Brighton Community Groups available this week
10:28pm Tuesday 27th March 2012 in Community By Liam Mandville, community correspondent
A small pot of funds is available for community groups working to improve the health of people in the Brunswick and Regency areas of the City.
The Brunswick and Regency Neighbourhood Action Group has a little of its annual Healthy Neighbourhood Funding (health funds from the City's NHS distributed via charity People Can) to distribute to local groups.
Health promoting projects that help to meet the City's health priorities such as reducing heart disease, stop smoking or helping people to get more exercise are favoured.
If you think your group fits the bill contact community worker Graham Allen 01273 272767 or e-mail < ahref=mailto:g.j.allen@ntlworld.com>g.j.allen@ntlworld.com for more information and a simple one page application form and the chance to be awarded up to £300 for your project.
The deadline is Friday, March 30, 5pm.
