At a hearing held behind closed doors in Hove Town Hall, Cllr Barnett was found to have breached the local councillors' Code of Conduct when she spoke to a reporter about the sale of placemats which featured a retro image of a Roberston's Jam golly.
She is likely to be told to attend Diversity training. More news when the minutes and documents released.
It is assumed that the three person panel were unanimous but this cannot be certain.
