Next week's meeting of the Standards Committee Hearing Panel on Tuesday, 20th December, 2011 at 10.00am in the Council Chamber, Hove Town Hall is to be heard in private.
The consideration of a Complaint Made Against a Member (Case Reference: BHC-006219) has been agended as "Part Two". This means that the press and public are to be excluded from the meeting.
The reason that the information is exempt is that, in all the circumstances of the case, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.
There have been recent press reports about Councillor Barnett, who represents Hangleton and Knoll for the Conservatives, handing directions travellers in her ward to go open spaces in wards with Green councillors.
