Art work by members of Coldean Art Group is being exhibited at Coldean Library from this week until 18th July. You will see a variety of work in oils and watercolours of landscapes, animals, and portraits.

The local Art Group meets on Monday afternoons at the New Larchwood Community Café from 2 to 4pm. New members of all levels and ages are always welcome. The group is very friendly and even those who don't want to paint can just drop in, watch or use the café facilities.

Steve Andrews, a local Community Development worker said: "The artists have really made a lot of progress since they have been coming here. "

There is something going on every day at New Larchwood Community Café and Steve Andrews hopes all local Coldean residents will make use of the facilities. "There's a misconception that the Café is just for senior citizens," said Steve Andrews, "but in fact it's for the whole community."

Further events taking place at New Larchwood Community Café and Coldean Library are posted below. Please write them in your diary and support local events.
