A Peugeot was torched in Stanmer Park, Brighton, last night (Tuesday).
Firefighters responded to a 999 call at 10.00pm on and put the fire out.
Police say that they do not know who started the fire last night.
Stanmer Park has multiple car parks that are unpatrolled and visitors are warned that their vehicles are left at their own risk.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said the car was suspected to be stolen. Fire crews left the scene at 10.47 after putting out the blaze.
