Brighton-based charity Mothers Uncovered has organised a weekend for mums to unwind at the Tree of Life Centre in Hove
Charity Mothers Uncovered has organised this low-cost weekend of workshops and pampering for mums on Saturday, October 18 and Sunday, October 19.
Founder of Mothers Uncovered, Maggie Gordon-Walker set up the charity to provide mums with a creative support network.
She recognises motherhood can have wonderful highs and extreme lows, and mums can feel they’re running as fast as they can just to stay in one place.
Ms Gordon-Walker said, “Motherhood is a mammoth job, let’s be honest.
"Mums often find it very hard to give themselves permission to do something for them.
"Mother Nurture is the perfect chance for mums to give themselves that time.”
For £27 (£18 concessions), mums can go to one workshop, have one 45 minute pampering treatment (booking essential) and attend any of the drop-in sessions at the centre at 143 Portland Road.
Treatments include full body massage and reflexology, while Sunday drop-in sessions include a choir and mini-consultations with natural health practitioners.
Drop-in Sunday tickets are available on the door for £5.
