I am happy to keep items relevant to Saltdean on our Community page in a position where regular readers will see them, to help with editing and to place a photo as necessary.

In addition to this, I can keep an issue or story live on the Argus Saltdean section longer than other sections of the Agus online. I will attempt to adjust the wording and the placing of a story depending on its "life". You can see already how forthcoming events will rise to the top of the list. Historical events reported on will gradually drop down.

A new feature being piloted from April 2010 is "the open letter". With any local problem, rather than just writing to "the council", you can send a copy to be published on-line so that the whole community has the opportunity to see what people are complaining about and what the "official" response is.
