A new website has been launched to connect the Neighbourhood and Home Watch groups across Brighton and Hove.
The website sends out alerts from Sussex police, has general news, information and training for coordinators and Watch members. News is also passed to and from the Sussex Neighbourhood Watch Federation meetings.
Any group who is not receiving alerts from the police, feels they may not be a registered group or wants more information can visit the site here.
Neighbourhood Watch (NHW) has been in existence for over 25 years and is the single largest voluntary organisation in the country. It is overseen by the Home Office which liases with the voluntary side through the National NHW Association and County NHW Federations. Police forces are officially responsible for approving, registering, and supporting all schemes.
