A celebration of our favourite toys
9:36pm Sunday 29th April 2012 in Community
‘My Favourite Toy’ at Hove Museum and Art gallery, is an exhibition that spans across many eras and cultures; lining it’s walls with every toy imaginable. Antique meets modern in this lovingly set out display of all things playful.
Every room has something different in store, whether that is; display cabinets full of bright primary coloured cars, lego buildings, rag dolls from the 1820’s, threadbare teddies or old fashion prams hanging from the ceiling.
There are knickknacks dating back to the 1830’s, card games from WW1 and trinkets that originated in Japan.
This is an opportunity for everyone to find or re-discover their favourite toy. An exhibition laced with nostalgia and ready to reignite imagination.
Free admission, open until 6th November 2012.
