Jeff Keen’s non-religious funeral service will be at 1pm on Tues 24 July at St Andrews Church, Beddingham BN8 6JY and his life celebration will be afterwards at All Saints Centre, Friars Walk, Lewes BN7 2LE.
For family members, there will be also a private cremation at 3 pm in Brighton. The family will join everyone there at All Saints Centre.
Many of Jeff’s films used the tip in Whitehawk and Black Rock as backdrop and location. He had a studio in the old DHSS building (61 St James’s Street, demolished in 1970's) just past St Mary’s Church with other artists, such as John Upton and Gary Turner who featured in his films.
He lived in Vernon Terrace for many years.
