Parking spaces at Sussex University will be used on match days once the new American Express Community Stadium is complete.
Members of the stadium's exclusive 1901 Club will be given shared access to allocated parking areas on the university campus, although it is not yet known how many spaces will be used.
Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club will also be operating a park and ride scheme, as parking at the stadium will be very limited with only a few spaces for players and staff.
Wardens will be posted around Falmer on match days to help direct people to the stadium and minimise unnecessary traffic through the village.
The Amex stadium, as it has been dubbed, is currently recruiting stewards and the catering company plan to hold a recruitment fair in early April.
