A bench will be unveiled commemorating the life of a former councillor and allotment champion.
The bench dedicated to David Smart will be unveiled at a ceremony with mayor Bill Randall at Hangleton Park, Hove, on Saturday, September 8 at 1pm.
Mr Smart served as a councillor for the Hangleton and Knoll area for three years before his sudden death in December 2010.
The bench unveiling will form part of the Hangleton Fun Day between 11.30am and 2.30pm featuring outdoor games, a barbecue and much more.
