Climate change volunteers to meet

Transition Brighton and Hove is due to hold a couple of meetings in the coming week.
TBH is part of the Transition Town network and is made up of a group of volunteers.
Their aim is to start a city-wide community response to the challenges of climate change.
The first of the two meetings this week is TBH´s Liaison With Local Government Group. It is due to meet at The George pub in Trafalgar Street, Brighton, at 7pm on Tuesday (August 26).
The second is the TBH Forum meeting at The Werks in Church Road, Hove, at 7.30pm on Wednesday (August 27).

This week's walk: Horsted Keynes and Furner's Green
From the village of Horsted Keynes, this walk heads eastwards to encircle the nearby settlement of Danehill, crossing and recrossing two well-wooded valleys before returning along part of the Sussex Border Path, a longdistance walking route which sticks fairly closely to the boundary between East and West Sussex.
