The bins serving Bakers Bottom were empied today (May 14th) but inexplicably one corner bin at Rochester St did not get tidied up properly.

The large bin lorry emptied the overflowing bins and both operatives removed all of the surrounding bags, many of which had burst, strewing the contents around the bins like confetti.  Even the bathroom sink was removed but the bag full of the contents of a paper-shredder proved more difficult to be cleared.  A hit-swad of 4 hi-viz broom & shovel operatives followed and tidied-up.

One burst-bag next to the Rochester St bin got missed. And a solitary stawberry was left on the pavement in Hendon St.
