On the last day of the first Green Party Conference to be held in Brighton, Holly Motion took to the streets to ask the people of Kemp Town what it means to them to live under a Green-controlled council.

The Argus:
"Generally, very good. I am a bit concerned about the political aspect, but for the environment, it is most definitely a positive thing.”
Fiona Baines, 54, box office coordinator

“I’m sorry, but I don’t think it makes one bit of difference.”
Philip Yates, 59, property

“Having moved here to study, I am surprised at how dirty it is here. For a city that boasts of having a Green party, I have yet to see it.”
Graziela Guaragna, 28, student

The Argus:
"Does it make a difference? In my opinion, it is a wasted vote to vote Green.”
Jonathon Butler, 27, technical business consultant

“I can honestly say I think it is a really good thing to have a Green party at the helm. ”
Julian Ellis, 60, computer engineer

The Argus:
“The Green party seem like the nicest of a bad bunch, by far.”
Malaika Skirth, 18, student
