Fire at flat occupied by squatters

Firefighters were called to a one bedroom flat in Newick Road, Moulsecoomb, today.
The fire started after a small group of squatters, who had been living in the flat for the last couple of months, received an eviction notice to leave the Brighton and Hove City Council owned property.
Police cordoned of the road while firefighters quickly put out the fire.
