Mile Oak FC Skipper Steve (Stiggy) Porter was presented with a large bottle of champagne and a signed photograph of the team at Mile Oak Rec on Saturday to celebrate his 400th appearance for the club.
It was presented by former first team manager Tony Gratwicke whose family have been prominent in running the club for many years.
The club then went on to inflict a 6-0 drubbing on opponents Steyning.
On Tuesday evening the County League Div 2 side take on Conference side Easbourne Borough in the cup.
A coach has been laid on to take the team and supporters to the match.
