Cat Welfare Sussex is holding a Halloween event on Friday October 31 to raise money for to care for rescued cats.
The event takes the form of a children’s trick or treat from 5pm to 8pm at 164 Mile Oak Road, Portslade.
Children bring along and donate a tin or sachet of cat food and receive a small reward for their efforts.
The driveway at 164 Mile Oak Road will feature lots of Halloween props and decorations and will also have a bric a brac table and produce stall for parents. There will also be a lucky dip for youngsters and a “Name the Halloween teddy” competition.
Look out for the Halloween witch giving out treats.
Children must be accompanied by an adult to this outdoor event, which will be held weather permitting (although the forecast at the moment is chilly but dry).
The cattery will not be open during the event which was held for the first time last year and gave parents somewhere they could safely take their children to trick or treat.
