Brighton and Hove Mayor Geoff Wells will be in Rottingdean this Saturday to unveil a plaque to one of the village’s best known and longest established families.
The Copper family have a history which goes back more than 300 years in the area. They are best known for keeping alive a long tradition of country folk music which members of the family still perform today.
The Mayor will unveil the plaque at 11.30am at Challoners Cottages in Falmer Road where the family lived at one time.
