Woodingdean residents have been badly affected by the snow of the last few days. The village, is the highest part of the Brighton area and usually gets more snow than other areas.

Two buses got stuck in Woodingdean on Saturday after which services were withdrawn. On Sunday they ran as far as the Downs Hotel.

Brighton and Hove City Council have been depositing large amounts of grit at road junctions in the village for residents to use in keeping the pavements and paths clear.
