Sussex Police have today sealed of a car park on the Alfriston Road, Seaford at High And Over, after a dog walker found what is believed to be human remains.
The alarm was raised by a dog at 7pm on Friday night. It's not known if the remains are male or female.
Police forensic experts are at the scene.
