Seaford Police are asking drivers and residents to be mindful about security and to remove valuables from thier vehicles, especially at this time of the year as the weather warms up and windows may be left open to keep your vehicle cool. Motorists are advised to take the follwing security measures:

Leave vehicles locked and secure at all times even if the vehicle is only left unattended for a minute.

Never leave any shopping or property on show even in car parks, and remove all audio equipment and sat navs where possible as these are particulary sought after,and dont forget to mark your property with your post code so it can be easily traced if recovered.
