Missing: Dave the Cat

Dave before his disappearance. Dave before his disappearance.

The owner of Dave the half-tailed cat is appealing for residents in the area to keep an eye out for her missing pet following his disappearance on her birthday last year.

Claire Peacock of Inwood Crescent, Brighton last saw Dave, a ginger and white tabby tom, on October 1st shortly after she had moved here from Thakeham.

Ms Peacock said: "He is sorely missed by me and his sibling cat Betty. I believe he has been taken in by someone and would urge that person to return him to his rightful owner."

Dave is microchipped, ensuring the owner could be traced and contacted in the event an animal were taken to a vet or animal home. He is made distinct by his half-length tail, having had the other half amputated after returning home one day with the tip inexplicably missing.

Anyone with any information can contact Claire on 07501 989095 or peabird25@yahoo.com.
