Residents are invited to a public exhibition to find out more about the proposed redevelopment of the former Co-op building in London Road. The site, which has been empty since February 2007, could house "retail space on the ground floor and student accommodation above in a new development of between four and eight storeys."
The public exhibition will take place at the building on Friday May 27 (tomorrow), 3.00-7.00, and Saturday May 28, 10.00- 4.00 and anyone is welcome to attend.
The proposal is from Chicester based Genesis Town Planning, who created an authentic Roman villa for Channel 4 program aired in January of this year.
