Woodingdean's community-run cafe is now open for breakfast. The Java Cafe in Warren Way opens at 8am to provide customers with their first meal of the day. Staffed by volunteers, the cafe also provides internet access is open until four in the evening Monday to Friday and 1pm on Saturdays. "It is a great pl;ace come, have a meal or just a drink and meet friends" said one regular visitor to the cafe.

The children in The Nest have been planting vegetables as part of a project about where our food comes from. We are hoping that in the future we will be able to sell the produce we grow to parents to fund other activities for the children.
