Choir holds workshops to attract new members

A choir is holding a series of workshops at the Church of the Holy Cross in Warren Road, Woodingdean, to try to encourage new members to join.

The workshops are being held by the Brighton Welsh Male Voice Choir from 7.30pm each Wednesday.

They are open to men of all ages and abilities – no previous musical experience is required.

Maggie Lee has stepped down as the choir’s musical director and will be replced by Deryck Hanchett, who has been deputy conductor for 17 years.
