MUSHTAQ Ahmed will definitely be part of Sussex's bid for a County Championship hat-trick.
His registration was this afternoon ratified by the England and Wales Cricket Board.
Mushtaq received a No Objection certificate from the Pakistan Cricket Board to play for Sussex a week ago, despite his participation in the rebel Indian Cricket League.
But Sussex were not certain he could play until the ECB rubber-stamped his registration.
He will report back to Hove in a fortnight ahead of the champions' first game against Hampshire at the Rose Bowl on April 16.
Just heard that Shane Wane has "done the dirty" on Hampshire and announced he won't be playing for them next season. What a shame! I was looking forward to kicking his fat a**e again this summer.
