Rental property in parts of Sussex is in short supply says local property expert Kay Smith of Eastbourne-based masonbryant.

Kay runs the firm’s letting department and has a wealth of experience having worked in the lettings industry for more than 17 years, the majority of which has been in Eastbourne and Pevensey Bay.

She ran two of the largest letting agents in Eastbourne before making the move to set up on her own. Her knowledge of the market and the area made her the “go to” expert when Homes Under The Hammer was filmed in the area.

Although masonbryant’s lettings department is based at their Eastbourne office all property is advertised from both their Eastbourne and Pevensey Bay offices.

Kay’s lettings team includes her husband Chris and Chrissie Miller, who has worked with her for over nine years.

Kay said: “We offer three types of services; fully managed; letting and rent collection; and letting only. But as we are independent we can adapt each service to suit the individual landlord’s requirements. The lettings market is as busy as ever and we are constantly in need of more property to let out, as we receive enquiries on a daily basis.

“We are looking for anybody who has an empty property or a property they can’t sell or let to come and see us.

“We have an out of hours mobile number, which not many agents have, ensuring that both landlords, tenants and applicants can get hold of us at any time.”

Anyone interested should call the team at masonbryant on 01323 64 65 64 or pop in and see them in their office in Gildredge Road, Eastbourne.
