The directors of Jacobs Steel Estate Agents are very proud of the seven staff members who took part in a 10,000 feet skydive on Saturday 12th March in order to raise funds for St Barnabas House Hospice. The Hospice provides specialist palliative care to adults with advanced progressive life-limiting illnesses. It costs more than £5 million each year to provide the hospice’s services and patients are never charged for their care. Only a small part of these costs are funded by the government, therefore they rely heavily on events, such as skydives, to raise the funds which are so desperately needed.

The team managed to raise more than £3,000 (money is still coming in too) and although they were all quite nervous about throwing themselves out of a plane, some of which at 15,000 feet, they all thoroughly enjoyed the event and would highly recommend people get involved and take part next year.
