Leading residential estate agent Hamptons International has announced the return of its Roadshow. The Roadshow, which is in its 13th year, will take place on Saturday 4th March 2017, 11am to 3pm in Hamptons International’s Battersea, Blackheath, Muswell Hill, Kensington and Teddington branches.

The Roadshow aims to provide a selection of the best countryside and commuter belt homes to Londoners who are thinking about leaving the capital. Last year the number of Londoners buying a home outside reached its highest level since 2007. In 2016, 74,000 Londoners bought homes outside the capital, 11,000 more than the previous year.

The hosting London branches will have property experts from popular country locations on hand to give an in-depth view of the area as well as providing information on the top schools, commuter times and property values.

Lesley Cairns, Managing Director at Hamptons International said: “Following on from more than a decade of success, it is with delight we announce the 13th year of our Roadshow. As the number of Londoners looking to swap the city for the country steadily grew in 2016 and it was a record year for first time buyers leaving London to buy outside the capital, the Roadshow is well placed to help those looking for better value for money and increased space with new homes in the country. With more than 85 branches across London and the south of the UK, Hamptons International can not only offer expertise on the property market to Country Roadshow visitors, but also a trustworthy insight into lifestyle factors such as commuter links and schools.”

If you would like your property to be included in the Roadshow, or if you’re looking to sell your property in London and move to the country, please contact your local Hamptons International branch.
