Leading Sussex estate agency Michael Jones picked up another seven awards at this year’s ESTAS. It swept the board in its regional categories for sales and lettings, and claimed two national awards.

The 11th annual Estate and Letting Agency Awards (ESTAS) took place earlier this month at the London Hilton on Park Lane.

At a lavish luncheon and ceremony, TV star and property guru Phil Spencer handed over the stunning trophies to the Michael Jones team: l Best National Small Chain Sales – Silver l Best National Small Chain Letting – Silver l Best Sales Office South East (South) – gold New Homes; silver Broadwater, bronze Goring l Best Letting Office South East (South) – gold Worthing; silver Lancing The ESTAS are the largest and longest-running awards in the UK property industry. These highly regarded and much-coveted awards have a unique scheme where customers and clients rate the service they receive from their agent, so it’s the customers who choose the winners.

About 790 estate agents took part across 18 regions around the UK and a staggering 32,000 questionnaires were completed by customers during the competition.

The awards not only provide valuable feedback for all entrants, they also enable estate agents who offer high service levels to be rewarded and given the accolade they deserve.

Phil Spencer, who has hosted the ESTAS every year since their inception in 2004 said: “An agent’s role is about guiding people through one of the most stressful times in their lives and that’s not an easy job.”

Managing partner Mike Jones said: “To win seven awards again, as voted for by our customers, is a clear sign that our team continue to work to the best of their abilities. As always we will endeavour to make further improvements to our services wherever we can, so that the Michael Jones name remains synonymous with quality and great customer care. I would like to say a huge congratulations to our fantastic team across all of our offices, without whom this great honour and national recognition would not have been possible.”
