NEW build properties offer the widest market appeal, according to over a third of respondents surveyed in industry reports.
The findings reiterate the resurgence new homes have enjoyed in the past decade, as they now rival the attraction of their period property equivalents.
Christine Tiernan, sales and marketing director for Crest Nicholson South, said: “Newly built properties without doubt have far wider appeal now than in years’ past, with purchasers increasingly recognising the benefits of having a home purposefully designed to facilitate contemporary living.”
Crest Nicholson’s Orchard Gate development in Shoreham-by-Sea encapsulates these findings, which is situated just a short 20 minute journey into Brighton town centre. The development is only a short walk to the beach and the popular Holmbush shopping centre. Shoreham Mainline Station is close by – with direct services to London Victoria in just over an hour.
