Leading residential estate agent Hamptons International played a key role in Kidzania London’s careers fair last month, by hosting a day-in-the-life of an estate agent talk at Kidzania’s theatre venue. Joining the likes of fellow partners British Airways and Cadbury, Hamptons International’s representative presented to children on the qualities required to be a good estate agent and gave them insight into working within the property industry.

On 20th January, Daniel O’Brien, Regional Sales Director at Hamptons International who has previously been recognised as the Best Valuer in the UK at prestigious industry awards, presented to an audience of school children, aged between seven and 11, on what it is like to be an estate agent at Hamptons International. Daniel explained how he rose through the ranks to eventually run 12 London offices and offered pieces of wisdom such as: “If you really stick at things you can be successful, that’s what we pride ourselves on at Hamptons”.

At the end of the session, Daniel reminded the children to take advantage of their newfound knowledge at the Hamptons International Kidzania branch, which has been welcoming mini estate agents in the making since January 2016.

Daniel O’Brien, Regional Sales Director at Hamptons International said: “When I was a child, there was nothing like Kidzania; it’s a fantastic resource to make children more aware of alternative industries, as well as the popular career aspirations of teachers, doctors, lawyers or pilots.”

Lesley Cairns, Managing Director at Hamptons International said: “We were delighted to commemorate our one-year anniversary with Kidzania by taking part in its careers fair and we are proud of Daniel for teaching the children exactly what it is like to work for Hamptons International.”
