The Dome Studio Theatre was submerged into half darkness with just a glimmer of tinsel peeking enticingly from the corners ready for A Winter’s Trail.

After a brief introduction, the four gazebos in the studio were opened up the reveal lights, textures and all manner of glittery sparkly things to excite babies inside.

Little ones and their big companions were free to explore the different zones by themselves and discover piles of paper snow, flashing bouncy balls and mountains of glitter.

Mums and dads may have had to put in a bit of hard work themselves as the performers, making the snow, bells jingle and puppets move, but there’s no doubt tiny minds were enraptured by the experience.

Whilst advertised for children age from birth to two – the experience was possibly best suited to sitting and crawling babies rather than those with a more destructive disposition.

On par with a high class baby class with a festive theme, it was a magical sleighride of fun for the little ones – but possibly not as exciting for all the additional parents, grandparents and hangers on, or those inclined to feel embarrassed embracing their inner child.
