Strictly Come Dancing stars Vincent And Flavia have announced a week-long Brighton residency as part of their final national tour.
Tickets went on sale at 10am today (Fri 24) for The Last Tango at Theatre Royal Brighton. The show will be at the New Road venue from Monday, November 16, to Saturday, November 21.
Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace have been dancing together for 20 years. As well as successes on Strictly Come Dancing, which Cacace won with partner Louis Smith in 2012, while Simone partnered runner-up Rachel Stevens in 2008, the pair were World Argentine Tango Champions.
Both their previous West End and touring productions Midnight Tango and Dance ‘Til Dawn were nominated for an Olivier Award.
The new show is being directed by Olivier Award-winning choreographer Karen Bruce.
“It’s an incredible experience to perform live in front of our wonderful audience night after night, but all good things must come to an end,” says Cacace.
“The Last Tango is going to showcase our best work and most beautiful dance moves before we finally say farewell to theatre. It’s going to be intimate, intense and full of our award-winning Argentine tango.”
“The last few years have been amazing – we’ve loved it,” adds Simone. “It may be our final theatre tour but we’re going to go out with a bang. This is going to be our best show yet!"
Tickets for the show start at £18. Call 08448 717650 or visit www.atgtickets.com/brighton
