Comedy duo Bob And Jim certainly don’t lack ambition in their latest show – with a simple aim of covering everything in life.

And they have the list to prove it – which is ticked off by a volunteer through the show to ensure no-one is left disappointed.

The likeable pair channel the no-nonsense philosopher attitude of Al Murray’s Pub Landlord, but strip away the less pleasant rightwing views.

These are two guys you would be happy to meet in the bar afterwards, who have an opinion on every subject under the sun but would go out of their way to avoid offence.

And the list truly has everything – from friends, family and work, to the bigger subjects like sport, war, democracy, religion and (gulp) feelings. On Saturday they even added meditation to ensure one member of the audience is kept satisfied.

Fuelled by beer their set is a mix of Jim’s ukulele songs, Bob’s attempt to get a date, and some neat improvisation with the audience.

But at the centre of the show is their innate blokey friendship – which comes out in an easy unforced rapport.

One gets the feeling the show continues between them after the audience is long gone.
