This tribute to some of the greatest music legends of the 20th century invited the audience to come fly down memory lane with the purveyors of cool in a slick performance.

Paying homage to swing icons Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Junior, the talented singers were backed by a live orchestra and showgirl-style dancers.

They belted out timeless classics including Come Fly With Me, Under My Skin, Sway, Mr Bojangles, Fly Me To The Moon, That’s Amore and Mack The Knife.

The show aimed to recreate the Rat Pack’s swaggering performances at the Sands Hotel, Las Vegas, during the 1960s. They mimicked the charm and banter of the three kings of swing effectively and the vocals were simultaneously smooth and powerful.

The singers were easy to warm to with natural charisma guiding and encouraging audience participation and giving them a taste of the Rat Pack’s famous tongue-in-cheek humour. The orchestra played faultlessly and the showgirls dazzled in a blur of feathers and sequins.

The rousing finale of New York New York had the crowd on their feet and kicking their legs. A classy night of vintage Las Vegas entertainment that kept the audience’s feet tapping and fingers snapping.
